I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is convenient, right between the northbound and southbound 101, and there are friendly people around. The room was surprisingly quiet despite being close to the freeway and had a comfortable bed. The service was top-notch, with helpful staff going out of their way to make me feel welcome. The dining options were limited to simple snacks, but they were still alright. Overall, a decent place with good value for money.

5.6/10

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The location was convenient, with plenty of nearby restaurants and stores within walking distance. The rooms, however, were uncomfortably warm with a faulty key card swiper. The service was friendly and helpful, but the noise levels from the nearby highway were a drawback. The dining options were lacking, offering only basic grab-and-go items. Overall, a decent stay with some notable drawbacks.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were sweltering hot and the key card swiper was in poor condition with tape holding it together. No A/C or fan available. The extra sitting area with a couch bed was a pleasant surprise.
Service

The staff was friendly and assisted us with our travel plans. Although their accents were noticeable, communication was not a major issue. They were kind despite us waking them up.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location was convenient, close to various dining options, a movie theater, and grocery stores. However, being right on Route 101 made it noisy throughout the night and mornings during deliveries.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was on the light side, with limited options like muffins and donuts. The grab-and-go bag only contained basic items like water, an apple, and a granola bar.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were okay and had everything I needed, although they looked a bit tired. The service was friendly and helpful, but it might not be suitable for light sleepers. The location was convenient for exploring with stores and restaurants nearby. However, the dining options were limited and on the lighter side.

Staying at this hotel was like stepping back into the 1970s road trip era with rooms that lacked A/C or even a fan, making it quite stuffy. The unexpected bonus of an extra sitting area with a fold-out couch was a pleasant surprise. The service was top-notch, with friendly and accommodating staff who were even helpful at odd hours. While the noisy location on Route 101 may not be ideal for light sleepers, the central positioning in Crescent City, minutes from the beach and not far from Jediah Smith Redwood Park, was convenient. The dining experience provided basic grab-and-go options but lacked variety. Overall, it was an okay stay with some drawbacks but good value for the price.

The location, although noisy being on Route 101, is ideal in the middle of Crescent City, close to the beach and a short drive to Jediah Smith Redwood Park.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was great, with easy access to popular spots, but the rooms felt ancient and uncomfortable. The service varied from rude to very friendly, and the dining options were average. Despite some drawbacks, the facility had some redeeming qualities.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were terribly old, smelly, dirty, and uncomfortable. I had to go buy an air mattress to sleep, and I felt all the springs in the mattress.
Service
6.0
The service was a bit inconsistent. While some staff members were wonderful, pleasant, and cheerful, others came across as rude regarding my family stopping by.
Location
8.0
The hotel is ideally located with the ocean all around, and there's a grocery store across the street. It's just two minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from Jedediah Smith Redwood Park.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience consisted of muffins, donuts, sick-looking apples, and bananas. It was not what I expected based on the listing.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities felt like places I stayed at on road trips in the 1970s—very old and in fair shape. They are in need of a serious update.
